What is microneedling? Microneedling is a popular treatment. It involves creating tiny micro-injuries in the skin to stimulate regeneration, leading to new collagen production and an overall improvement in skin texture. The skin becomes smoother and firmer, and pores are minimized. The following skin conditions can be improved or reduced: wrinkles, scars (including acne scars), stretch marks, pigmentation irregularities, hair loss, cellulite, and much more. The range of applications is extensive. With regular treatments, more nutrients and oxygen penetrate the skin, resulting in a smoother and plumper appearance. The results of microneedling are not immediately visible; regular treatments are necessary to achieve the desired results. Depending on skin type, significant improvements may be noticeable after just three to four treatments, while some skin may require more time to show improvement. Important to know! This treatment is not suitable for everyone. The following skin conditions cannot be treated: rosacea, active acne and herpes simplex (wait until the outbreak has subsided), and open wounds. A skin analysis will be performed and a medical history questionnaire will be completed !! - You should not use any irritating creams, e.g., those containing retinol. - Do not drink alcohol 24 hours before the treatment. - Do not use a tanning bed for two to three days prior. - Do not have a sunburn. - Please do not wear makeup – come to your treatment without makeup. - If you are taking blood-thinning medication, you must discuss this with your doctor. We will require proof of this. - Wrinkle injections with hyaluronic acid or Botox should have been performed at least two weeks prior. After the treatment, you will receive a skincare recommendation to take home for optimal results. ...
